Other limited models include models who try to put together competent professional modeling portfolios for free, using TFP, and who try to compete against professional models with cheap career tools. The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. Working on the new Independent Modeling site

Hello everyone. This is the first blog post of the new Athena Class Independent Modeling site, a late 3rd Generation web site and the 7th Independent Modeling site. I've archived the previous blog posts, and I must say that, because the design of this new web site is actually two years old now, that I am happy with it. Independent Modeling is finally where it whould have been from the beginning, but it benefits from over a decade of experience, research, and developmen; this site is now, literally, the most advanced modeling resource site in the world. Now all that I have to do is work hard on the site to get it to where it needs to be in the coming months, and eventually upgrade it to a full 4th Generation web site with PHP databases and flash multimedia. I've been updating file directories, file paths (I did rename some directories, but had to switch them back because the search engines had already indexed the existing files, so Independent Modeling is a slave to its old site files, with the exception of the IM directories from years ago, which will be maintained as an archive and will not make up the main site. The next Athena Class sites, which consist of Independent Acting, Florida Models, Florida Actors, and an Independent Talent sites, will have the advantage of being able to start fresh, and should be better in every way, with refinements in every aspect of the sites), and, just today, I decided that the site is so georgeous that I wanted to be able to print it out and frame it (and I'm being serious), so I upgraded all of the graphics and image sets to 300 PPI/DPI print resolution from its original resolution of 72 DPI/PPI. Now, I am working on support content for all of the main sections and the subsections, so that is why I am ending this post, now. I will post soon about the new, revolutionary features and tools that this site will have. For now, I need to work hard on getting this site online and operational, at least intitially, this week.
