Time For CD, or TFCD INDEPENDENT MODELING Changing the business of modeling Also known as Time For Print, or TFP, which is not as specific of a definition as TFCD is. TFCD came about with the advent of digital photography. Basically, instead of receiving prints like they would in what used to be TFP (TFP is just a generalized term now and not specific, as models rarely receive prints from photographers anymore of any kind), the model receives the image files on a CD or data storage device such as a flash drive. Note, however, that TFP and TFCD were hijacked by amateurs, as it used to represent a collaboration between established professionals and was never used as an attempt to avoid paying for services or to try to build a portfolio for free; no professional photographer or model is going to offer services free of charge to some who needs them and who is in the market for them, as any career is about making a living and getting paid to work, and any photographer or model who works for free is an idiot, in our opinion. Please read both definitions to avoid confusion between the terms, as there are specific differences. See also Sex For CD for the unethical, unprofessional version of this which destroys careers. 11/02/12 - 11/21/12
