The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. 10/28/12 - NOTE: Obviously, the "new" second generation modeling industry scam analysis database, which is actually a subsection offshoot of our risks section, is not up and running. We don't even have definitions listed here. It's annoying. This is some of the old Independent Modeling content which needs to be updated for the new site. Until we get this up and running, just use our Tampa Bay Modeling scam analysis database. It's old, based on 2002 Independent Modeling tech, but it works, and it's effective. It's just not as good, or as current, as this one will be. Patience, young models! We will get it up, and it will be well worth the wait! We promise! ...... and the angry model grows more angry.

For ease of use, the modeling industry scam analysis database features a scenario based front-end, where our readers can find scenarios that they might be experiencing, and then quickly match it with the relevant scam, as well as the name of the scam, the definition, and an array of resources to avoid and / or counter the scam.
